Peter Miller

Board Chair

Peter Miller has been a valley resident since 1995; originally from the east coast. A graduate of Glassboro State College in New Jersey in 1978, Peter began his studies and graduated with a BA in education and a minor in Business Sales Management. He took advantage of his education, gained invaluable experience and taught middle school for one year. Although he loved the education process and helping students achieve their goals, he had the opportunity to advance himself with an incredible opportunity. Upon the conclusion of that school year, he embarked on a long career in advertising, publishing, and magazine sales.

Over the next 22 years, Peter was in the positions of several high ranking seniorlevel positions at the Hearst Corporation, International Thomson, and Weider Publications . Leaving the magazine world, Peter spent a year in sponsorship of  INDY CAR racing and achieved the highlight of securing sponsorship dollars for the Glendale based Groff brothers and witnessed one of his drivers place 10th and earn "Rookie of the Year" status in the famed Indianapolis 500.

Joining his wife, Deborah, in real estate Peter embarked on his current profession in 1999 in real estate and immediately made an impact with his sales & marketing background in the area of new home developments, conversion projects, and land acquisition. Achieving for the past 15 years the distinction of being in the top 1% off all realtors nationwide, Peter has also been a previous multi year winner as a Top Overall Company Producer for one of the largest brokerage firms in the San Fernando Valley. It seems to only make sense for Peter to return to his passion of being involved in the education process once again after all these years.

Peter has seen their oldest daughter, Rachel,  graduate from CHAMPS in 2012, and  graduate with honors from Chapman University with a BFA in Screen Acting in 2016. Their youngest daughter, Hannah, graduated CHAMPS in 2017 and is enrolled in the BFA Screen Acting Program at Chapman University as well. Peter is devoted to the arts, media, and digital world and is committed to the present and future of CHAMPS.
