What are you going to be for Halloween?

Students may wear Halloween costumes to school on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Clothing may not be disruptive to school or classroom activities. Dress up and enjoy Halloween provided you meet the required dress code:
DO (as in, "the following is acceptable")
  • Wear appropriate shoes
  • Wear something in which you can sit, walk, breathe, see and hear in!
DON'T (as in, "DO NOT")
  • Wear bare midriffs or “revealing” clothing
  • Wear masks that cover the face
  • Wear clown costumes (e.g. clown attire, make-up or wigs)
  • Wear offensive or inappropriate costumes
  • Bring pretend “prop” weapons such as water pistols, knives, or swords
  • Bring real weapons
*Note: Students who wear costumes that do not conform to the guidelines above or the CHAMPS dress code, will at minimum be asked to change out of their costume into regular school attire. If you are not sure whether or not your costume meets the Dress Code above, it probably doesn't. To avoid being sent home and accruing an unexcused absence or other disciplinary action, please adhere to CHAMPS' Costume Guidelines.
