THEATRE PRESENTATION ~ CHAMPS LIVE!

Come see the Sophomore Theater Academy's presentation of CHAMPS Live! -- an evening of skit comedy and vaudeville.

Warning! Your teachers will be mocked profusely. Warning! You may cry from laughing.

Shows are Thursday, April 11th and Friday, April 12th at 6:30 in the Drama 1 at the Phoenix Building. Tickets will be on sale in the main office on the Mezzanine level after spring break; $5 for students and $10 for adults.

CONGRATULATIONS SPEECH AND DEBATE

On March 8 and 9, our Speech and Debate students attended the state qualifiers league tournament at Burbank High School. Maya Glasgow and Simon Fields both qualified for the California High School Speech Association 2013 State Tournament next month in Stevenson Ranch.

They will be representing CHAMPS on the state level, Maya in Dramatic Interpretation and Simon in International Extemp (extemporaneous).

In addition, both Simon Fields and Linoy Utkina advanced to semi-finals in Impromptu.

CONGRATULATIONS COMEDY SPORTZ

Our Comedy Sportz team has advanced to the semi-finals of the Comedy Sportz High School League March Madness playoffs! Our first year team beat a team of seasoned vets from Upland High and will be playing their next match at the National Comedy Theater (comedysportzla.org) on April 13.

GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!!! FRESHMAN THEATRE PRESENTATION!

"THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH" by Edgar Allen Poe will be performed by our Freshman Academy Theatre students. This is their first presentation so come support them.

The performance will be Friday April 5th and Saturday April 6th at 7 PM in the Black Box Theatre located at the Phoenix Building. Tickets will go on sale Monday after spring break in the main office. Student tickets are $5 and adult tickets are $10.
