Jeffrey D.Byrd is an accomplished musician, a graduate from The Baltimore School for the Arts, Berklee College of Music, where he earned his Bachelors in Professional Music, and he also attended Oberlin Conservatory. Jeff taught at LAB Senior High School for four years, where he directed the group Reflections, who won the Heritage Music Festival back to back in 2004 and 2005. Jeff won the 1999 John Lennon Song Writing Competition, 2000 Bill Board song contest, and has a Recording Industry Association of American Platinum award for his work with the pop group, All-4-One. The CHAMPS High School for the Arts and Multi-Media Advanced Jazz Band were the 2010 Grammy Enterprise Award Winner. Drums, Piano and Percussion are his principal instruments. Jeff has performed and/or recorded with such artists as All-4-One, Cab Calloway, Nancy Wilson, Lalah Hathaway, Immature, Tavares, Lionel Ritchie, The Hawkins, The Clark Sisters and Tevin Campbell, to name just a few. Jeff’s film and television credits include The Five Heart Beats, Major Pain, Good Burger, Freedom House, NIKE Commercial, Paul Mitchell Hair Commercial, Bob Marley Documentary, The Arsenio Hall Show, The Today Show, The Tonight Show, and Soul Train. Jeff is currently Co-Chair of the music department at the CHAMPS Charter High School for the Arts and Multi-Media, a Studio Musician, and a Grammy voting member.
