Expectations for Ballet Class

Ballet is a disciplined art form and dancers should demonstrate self-discipline and take responsibility for being prepared and punctual. For Ballet, this means dressed in dress code, with ballet shoes, hair in a bun, signed in, stretching at the barres by 1:05pm.

Dancers should demonstrate the highest level of social courtesy while in class.
Dancers should be respectful of the dance environment as well as the dance teacher and fellow dancers at all times. Behavior that is disruptive is not tolerated.

Journals will be completed the last 5 minutes of class and turned in prior to dismissal daily.

Students who are absent and miss an assessment or an assignment will have one week from the date of return to Ballet class to make up missed work.
Late work will not be accepted.
